ISANG social media vlogger at labor recruiter ang iimbestigahan dahil sa umano’y human trafficking na kinasasangkutan ng dalawang Pinay.
Pinamumunuan ng Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking ang imbestigasyon na inilipat ng Bureau of Immigration (BI).
Hindi pa ibinibigay ng BI ang pangalan ng vlogger ngunit kinilala na ito ng dalawang biktima, ayon sa report ng Manila Bulletin.
Hinarang ang dalawang biktima sa airport at patungo sanang Singapore noong Huwebes, Nov. 2 nang mabuking na biktima ang mga ito ng human trafficking.
Ibinunyag ng isa sa mga biktima na ini-refer siya sa vlogger. Hindi pa rin ibinubunyag ang pangalan ng recruiter.
“Both the recruiter and the vlogger are being investigated by the IACAT for their involvement in the recruitment,” nabatid pa.
“Both victims were recruited by a female based in Sri Lanka, who charged more than P50,000 each for the recruitment package,” ayon sa BI. “The recruiter promised them employment in Sri Lanka as household service workers or call center agents upon arrival,” ayon pa sa BI.
