GOOD news for teachers and poll workers who served during the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE).
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) on Friday said it is planning to release all honoraria for teachers and poll workers by Saturday.
As of Friday morning, Garcia said the poll body was able to distribute 20.11% of the honoraria for teachers.
But he said he expects to distribute around 75% to 80% of the payments on Friday considering that the banks nationwide have already resumed operations after the holidays.
So hopefully po ngayon mabayaran na naming lahat, at least man lang mga 75% to 80% ng electoral board members ang mabayaran natin kasama na po d’on ang [DepEd Supervisor Official] at mga polls workers natin,” Garcia said.
