The group, primarily participants in an agricultural technology training program, found themselves stranded in Israel due to the intensifying conflict.
The DFA’s statement underscores the proactive role of the Philippine embassies in Tel Aviv and Amman, working in conjunction with relevant authorities in both Israel and Jordan to secure the officials’ safe passage and entry clearance.
The officials were met at the King Hussein Border by the Philippine Ambassador to Jordan, where they received assistance and transit visas at no cost to the Philippine government.
