PATROLMAN Joshua Semilla Mendoza, who was accused of abusing a woman he allegedly brought unconscious to a motel in Manila, has surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after the Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) issued a warrant for his arrest.
The case stemmed from a complaint filed by the woman, who alleged that Mendoza took her to a motel while she was unconscious and abused her. The incident sparked public outrage and prompted authorities to launch an investigation.
With the warrant of arrest issued, Mendoza turned himself in to the NBI. He will now face the charges against him in court. The case is a stark reminder of the importance of upholding the law and ensuring accountability, especially among law enforcement officers.
