FOLLOWING claims of assault and illegal detention involving actresses Michelle Dee and Rhian Ramos and their companions, Dee has refiled her qualified theft complaint against Ramos’ former driver. The refiled complaint now includes allegations of libel and perjury.
Dee’s original qualified theft complaint, filed on January 19, was previously dismissed for procedural reasons. According to their joint legal counsel, Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, the Office of the City Prosecutor in Makati recommended that it be filed under regular preliminary investigation proceedings.
Abraham-Garduque said Dee personally refiled the complaint on January 30, submitting additional evidence, including photos of a red envelope containing photographs allegedly taken by the driver. The expanded complaint now includes charges of libel and perjury, in addition to qualified theft.
