MIKA Salamanca and Brent Manalo, known as the “BreKa” duo, have been crowned the winners of “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition!” The pair secured the coveted title during the Big Night held Saturday at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
This season marked a significant milestone for the long-running reality show, representing its 20th anniversary and the first time it aired on GMA Network, in a major collaboration between GMA and ABS-CBN.
The show premiered on March 9 with twenty housemates—ten from GMA and ten from ABS-CBN—paired into duos for the duration of the competition.
The BreKa duo’s victory culminated a unique season that saw a variety of pairings compete throughout the weeks. They emerged victorious after a series of challenges and votes.
CharEs secured their spot in the Big Four through votes from remaining duos and house challengers, while RaWi, AzVer, and BreKa earned their places through the Big Jump challenges. The innovative duo format and the historic collaboration between the two networks made this season of “Pinoy Big Brother” a memorable one for viewers and participants alike. The success of this collab edition suggests a promising future for future collaborations between the two major networks.
