THE low pressure area and thick clouds will bring rain to some parts of the country this Monday, October 7.
According to PAGASA, the LPA was located 165 kilometers west-northwest of Coron, Palawan at around 3 AM.
It is within an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ). As a result, cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected in the Bicol Region, Mimaropa, Quezon, Rizal, Laguna, and Batangas.
The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to easterlies.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the ITCZ.
