Authorities received information that a body had been found in Barangay Maluid in Victoria on Thursday afternoon. Victoria Chief of Police Major Marty Calara announced that Police Senior Master Sergeant John Mollenido, Mollenido’s ex-husband, had confirmed that the body found was their child.
The investigation is still ongoing to determine the cause of the victim’s death.
Meanwhile, a car sales agent is now a person of interest in the death of the policewoman who was reported missing before being found dead in Bulacan.
The police found that the agent is a godchild of the victim and acted as the middleman in the sale of the vehicle. The agent is now missing, but authorities on Wednesday entered his house in Quezon City, where the police officer was last seen alive, by virtue of a search warrant.
