VICE President Sara Duterte’s latest financial disclosure reveals a notable increase in her net worth, reflecting a broader trend of asset growth among top government officials.
Her declared net worth has risen from P71.058 million in June 2022 to P88,512,370.22 as of December 31, 2024, representing a P17.45 million increase.
According to copies of Duterte’s Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALNs), her real properties with her husband, Manases Carpio, and their children were valued at P50,958,891 upon assuming office, while her personal properties were at P23,849,950. She also reported a personal loan of P3,750,000 at the start of her term.
Over the years, Duterte’s real property assets have increased with the acquisition of a residential land and a house, and two parcels of land acquired by her husband. Her personal properties have also risen. While her previous personal loan decreased, she took on an P8 million loan last year, bringing her total liabilities to P9,950,000 as of December 31, 2024.
