AT least three persons died in an armed encounter between suspected drug suspects and personnel from the PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PNP DEG) in Quezon City, according to reports.
The incident, which occurred along 13th Avenue in Barangay Socorro, Cubao, was confirmed by Quezon City Police District chief Police Col. Randy Glenn Silvio.
A report from “24 Oras” showed several spent casings at the scene of the crime, along with a brown box containing small packets covered by packing tape. A paper bag containing suspected buy-bust money was also part of the inventory.
As of this writing, the PNP DEG has not issued a statement on the incident.
