LAWYER Ade Fajardo, the lawyer and spokesperson for former Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, has dismissed allegations made by witnesses in the Senate as “logically and physically impossible.”
In a statement, Fajardo addressed claims made during Senate proceedings, stating that “The allegations aired in the Senate are logically and physically impossible.”
He specifically cited the testimony of Curlee Discaya, who stated under oath that he has never entered South Forbes Park, making it impossible for him to have approached anyone there or issued any instruction.
Fajardo further argued that the claims originate solely from the staff of an evicted tenant and are unsupported by any document. He emphasized that Martin Romualdez’s name appears in no deed, contract, or payment record related to the property.
“There is no evidence—only hearsay and possibly perjured statements —and therefore nothing to answer,” Fajardo concluded.
