THE Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) conducted searches in Batangas and Pampanga on leads regarding the whereabouts of businessman Atong Ang, who is wanted in connection with the missing “sabungeros” (cockfighting enthusiasts) case.
CIDG operatives visited a location in Rosario, Batangas, where Ang was reportedly sighted, but they were unable to locate the businessman. The search proved unsuccessful, yielding no sign of Ang’s presence.
The CIDG also went to a farm in Porac, Pampanga. The owner of the farm admitted to previously being in a partnership with Ang in a cockfighting venture but stated that he has not seen Ang recently.
The CIDG is currently verifying over 10 pieces of information they have received regarding Ang’s location and is actively pursuing these leads to apprehend the businessman.
