Malacañang silent on Duterte’s latest criticism of Marcos admin

admin February 14, 2025

MALACANANG has declined to comment on former president Rodrigo Duterte’s latest criticisms of the Marcos administration.

Duterte’s remarks specifically targeted the high price of rice and accusations of drug use against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

When asked for a response, PCO Acting Secretary Cesar Chavez simply said, “No comment” to Palace reporters.

During a PDP Laban rally, Duterte claimed that Marcos’ alleged drug use had long-term effects.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) remained silent, reiterating their previous statement that Duterte’s remarks could be attributed to the long-term effects of fentanyl use.
