JAM Ignacio is wanted by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for allegedly assaulting his fiancée, Jellie Aw.
Aw filed a formal complaint with the NBI after sharing photos of her injuries on social media, detailing the alleged assault. The case is being handled by the NBI’s Violence Against Women and Children Division (VAWCD), and Director Jaime Santiago confirmed that Ignacio is facing charges and that the agency is actively pursuing him.
Aw has publicly stated her desire to see Ignacio held accountable for his actions, expressing relief that she discovered his true nature before their marriage.
The alleged assault took place in a locked car; Aw was only able to seek help once they reached a tollbooth.
The case has drawn significant public attention and generated widespread calls for justice. The NBI has pledged a thorough investigation and plans to summon Ignacio for questioning.
