THE Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced the suspension of classes in all levels and work in government offices in Metro Manila and several other provinces for Tuesday, August 26, 2025, due to inclement weather.
“#WalangPasok is declared in all levels for public and private schools and government offices in the following areas tomorrow, August 26, 2025 (Tuesday),” the DILG stated.
In addition to Metro Manila, the following provinces have also declared suspensions:
- Metro Manila
- Aurora
- Quezon
- Rizal
- Laguna
- Camarines Norte
- Camarines Sur
- Albay
- Sorsogon
- Catanduanes
- Masbate
- Northern Samar
- Eastern Samar
- Leyte
- Southern Leyte
The announcement follows the 4 p.m. weather forecast from Pagasa, which indicated that the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and a low-pressure area will affect parts of the country.
