FORMER President Rodrigo Duterte has been summoned by the Quezon City prosecutor’s office to attend the preliminary investigation of the complaint for grave threats filed against him by ACT Teachers Rep. France Castro.
In the subpoena signed by Quezon City Senior Assistant City Prosecutor Ulric Badiola, the former president was ordered to appear as a respondent at the Office of the City Prosecutor on December 4 and 11, at 2:30 p.m.
His personal appearance was required for the purpose of the submission of his counteraffidavit to Castro’s complaint against him.
In October, Castro filed charges against Duterte for making threatening statements against her during his program on SMNI.
“Ikaw France, kayong mga Komunista ang gusto kong patayin,” Duterte had said.
