A PASIG court has ordered the camp of Apollo Quiboloy to explain why his pre-recorded message was shown at a Kingdom of Jesus Christ gathering on February 9 and published on Facebook on February 10 without permission. The court stated that this violated their rules and gave Quiboloy’s camp five days to explain.
According to Atty. Israelito Torreon, Quiboloy’s lawyer, the court had allowed the televangelist to deliver pre-recorded messages to supporters on specific dates. He also denied allegations of VIP treatment and emphasized Quiboloy’s rights under the Constitution and the Nelson Mandela Rules.
Quiboloy is facing non-bailable charges of qualified human trafficking and separate child abuse cases. Torreon also urged the Commission on Elections to conduct a manual ballot count for clearer election results.
