THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has announced the opening of the improved sections of the EDSA Busway. Specifically, the southbound lane from Taft Avenue to Orense, and the northbound lane from Magallanes Avenue to Orense in Makati are now open to the public.
The DPWH is also accelerating asphalt paving and pavement marking installations on other parts of the busway in response to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to expedite the ongoing #EDSARehabilitation of EDSA.
To minimize disruption to motorists during rush hours, the DPWH has announced that starting Monday, January 5, road repairs on EDSA will be conducted from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. daily.
