IN celebration of the 125th anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service, Department of Transportation (DOTr) Acting Secretary Giovanni Lopez has ordered free rides on the MRT-3 and LRT-2 for government employees on September 18-19, 2025.
This initiative aims to show appreciation for the dedication and service of government workers.
To avail of the free rides, government employees simply need to present their valid agency IDs at the MRT-3 and LRT-2 stations. With their IDs, they can ride for free on both train lines throughout the entire day on the specified dates. This offers a convenient and cost-effective way for government employees to commute during the Civil Service anniversary celebration.
