TAIWAN has renewed its visa‑free entry privilege for Philippine passport holders for another full year, allowing eligible Filipinos to travel to the island without prior visa arrangements for stays of up to 14 days.
The extension will remain in effect until July 31, 2027, giving travelers continued ease of access for tourism, family visits, and short‑term business engagements.
The policy benefits ordinary Philippine passport holders who meet standard entry requirements, including proof of return or onward travel, sufficient funds for their stay, and no adverse immigration records.
Since the introduction of visa‑free access, travel between the two sides has grown significantly, boosting tourism revenues, strengthening people‑to‑people ties, and supporting small and medium enterprises dependent on visitor arrivals.
This move reflects Taiwan’s confidence in the quality of travelers from the Philippines and its commitment to maintaining open, convenient connectivity. It also underscores the warm bilateral relations and mutual interest in fostering closer cultural and economic exchanges.
Travel authorities remind the public to ensure passports remain valid for at least six months beyond the intended period of stay and to comply with all immigration regulations upon arrival.
