KAPAMILYA actor Gerald Anderson is currently viral for helping a stranded family in Quezon City.
A video of Anderson wading through floodwaters to rescue a family trapped inside their house in Quezon City is now circulating online.
The actor can be seen comforting a young girl who was very scared to go with Gerald due to the high floodwaters.
The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the actor as he safely brought the child to a secure location.
Gerald was also one of the volunteers who helped stranded families during the peak of Typhoon Ondoy, where Metro Manila was almost completely submerged.
The National Capital Region (NCR) has been placed under a state of calamity due to the damage caused by Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon.
