THE Philippines will export 66,000 metric tons of raw sugar to the United States for the 2024-2025 crop year, according to the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA) under Sugar Order 5. This marks the second consecutive year that the Philippines will fulfill its farmers’ share of the US sugar quota.
To participate in the export program, qualified sugar producers must submit a notarized statement outlining their export volume by March 30th. The sugar must be shipped to the US by August 15th.
