A FEMALE vlogger known for supporting President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. was killed on the spot, while her live-in partner sustained injuries, after being ambushed by gunmen riding in tandem in Caloocan City early Friday, July 17.
Authorities identified the victim as 24‑year‑old Alicia “Mima Alicia” Lipata, a resident of Tierra Nova Subdivision, where the attack took place at around 3:05 a.m. Her companion, known only by the alias “Tapong,” also 24, was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds.
According to the Caloocan City Police Station, officers from Station 9 responded immediately to reports of gunfire within the subdivision. Upon arrival, they found Lipata already lifeless from multiple gunshot wounds, while her partner was being assisted by neighbors before being taken for medical care. Witnesses recounted hearing a series of successive gunshots, and later saw both victims lying on the ground bleeding as the assailants fled the scene.
Investigators noted that Lipata was publicly recognized for her online content expressing support for the President and criticizing members of the so‑called DDS group.
Police are currently conducting follow‑up operations and deeper inquiries to establish the identities of the suspects and determine whether her online activities were linked to the attack. No arrests have been made so far, and authorities have urged anyone with information to come forward to help solve the case.
