MUNTINLUPA City Mayor Ruffy Biazon and other city officials cried for justice as they condemned the murder of Barangay Buli Chair Ronaldo “Kaok” Loresca who was killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen on Wednesday night.
“Mariin kong kinukundena ang walang saysay na pagpatay sa kapwa ko lingkod bayan sa Muntinlupa na si Kapitan Ronaldo ‘Kaok’ Loresca ng Barangay Buli,” Biazon said on his Facebook page.
THE Muntinlupa Operations Center has directed to review the CCTV footage and the Muntinlupa police to immediately investigate the incident to identify the suspects and bring them to justice.
The victim, 48, was shot dead by two unidentified men at about 10:16 p.m. in front of a shoe and apparel shop on Manuel L. Quezon Street in Barangay Buli.
The barangay chair and his companions were seated in front of the store when the suspects fired at him.
Loresca was rushed to the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang but succumbed to gunshot wounds.
City Council Majority Floor Leader Raul Corro said a resolution would be filed during the May 27 regular session to denounce Loresca’s killing.
He called on the Philippine National Police to focus on the investigation and to catch the suspects immediately so they could be prosecuted under the law.
