AS of 8:00 AM today, September 6, 2025, Tropical Depression “Lannie” (formerly LPA 09a) has officially exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). This marks the end of Lannie’s direct impact on the country, bringing relief to areas that experienced rainfall and gusty winds during its passage.
While Lannie is no longer within the PAR, authorities continue to monitor weather conditions and advise the public to remain vigilant. Lingering effects, such as localized flooding and landslides in vulnerable areas, are still possible due to saturated ground from previous rainfall.
PAGASA, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration, will continue to provide updates on any potential weather disturbances that may affect the country in the coming days.
