A SEVEN-year-old girl perished in a house fire that broke out in Barangay Talon Uno yesterday afternoon. According to Barangay Chairperson Irene Gallardo, the child was locked inside the house when the fire started around 3:00 p.m., resulting in her death by suffocation.
Gallardo stated that the parents had left the child alone, securing the house with a padlock.

In addition to the child’s death, three other individuals sustained injuries in the blaze.
