
FORMER House speaker Martin Romualdez has confirmed receipt of an invitation from the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) and expressed his willingness to cooperate with the commission.
In a statement released by his office, Rep. Romualdez “welcomes the opportunity to cooperate with the Commission and fully supports its objective of promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance.”
The statement further indicated that Rep. Romualdez is “prepared to appear before the Commission” to address any questions or concerns they may have.
The ICI is currently investigating infrastructure projects and processes, and Romualdez’s cooperation is seen as a positive step towards promoting transparency in government.
