SAN Juan, Ilocos Sur Vice Mayor Ellaine Sarmiento paid a courtesy visit to Lt. Reynald N. Ramos, the newly-designated chief of police of the Narvacan police station, where they exchanged pleasantries.
The meeting highlighted the strong working relationship between the two officials, forged during their previous collaborations.
Lt. Ramos previously served as the deputy chief of police in San Juan while Sarmiento was the town’s mayor. Ramos praised Sarmiento as a very supportive mayor to the police force, crediting her leadership for contributing to San Juan’s reputation as one of the most peaceful towns in the region.
