CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga- Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) headed by B/Gen. Rogelio “Pojie” Peńones, Regional Director, reported Monday that a total of P10.7 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated in a week of intensified police operations across Central Luzon.
Gen. Peñones said the series of operations also led to the arrest of 236 suspects, apprehension of 114 wanted persons, seizure of ₱10.6M worth of illegal drugs, and confiscation of 44 loose firearms.
According to Gen. Peñones Jr., these achievements reflect the unit’s firm adherence to the PNP Focused Agenda of Acting Chief, PNP PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.
He added that the results highlight PRO3’s strong and united stance against crime and its commitment to protecting the people of Central Luzon.
In Bagac, Bataan, PNP Tracker Team under the supervision of Major Roger Pecenio arrested the other day a top most wanted person in an operation all the way to Brgy. Baretto, Olongapo City, Zambales.
The operation targeted a Most Wanted Person listed as Top 10 at the Provincial Level for the offense of Violation of R.A. 7610, reported Major Pecenio to Col. Marites A. Salvadora, police director. The warrant carried a recommended bail of Php 200,000.00.
Major Pecenio said the suspect, a 68-year-old resident of Brgy. Saysain, Bagac, Bataan, was immediately placed under police custody.
In Orion town, Major Madtaib Jalman, chief of police, alao reported that “In adherence to the Focused Agenda of Acting Chief PNP, particularly on Enhanced Managing Police Operation and the directives of Gen. Peñones and PCol Marites Salvadora, PD of Bataan PPO, members of the Station Drug Enforcement Team of Orion MPS conducted an Anti-Illegal Drug Operation (Buy-bust) on November 16, 2025 at Brgy. Villa Angeles Orion, Bataan that resulted in the arrest of three suspects and confiscation of more or less 16.42 grams of shabu with Standard Drug Price of P 111,656.00 pesos.
The arrested suspects were charged for violation of Section 5 and 11 Art II of RA 9165. “The Orion MPS stands firm in its commitment to keep our community safe. We will continue to pursue lawless elements, strengthen our fight against illegal drugs, and work tirelessly to ensure that Orion remains a secure and thriving place for everyone,” Major Jalman added.
