NLEX waives tolls northbound due to Marilao bridge repairs

admin June 21, 2025

NLEX Corporation announced a temporary toll waiver for northbound travel on the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) from Balintawak to Meycauayan, effective Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 1:00 AM until midnight.

This measure is being implemented to mitigate the inconvenience caused by the closure of the Marilao Bridge, which sustained significant damage after a truck violated regulations.

The bridge closure, necessary for urgent repairs, will remain in effect until June 26th. The toll waiver aims to alleviate the burden on motorists who would otherwise face delays and added expenses due to the rerouting necessitated by the bridge closure.

NLEX Corporation assures motorists that appropriate traffic management measures will be in place to minimize disruption during the repair period.

While the toll waiver is specifically for the northbound section, motorists are advised to anticipate potential traffic congestion and plan their journeys accordingly.

The company is committed to ensuring the safety and efficient movement of traffic while the essential repair work is underway. Further updates regarding the Marilao Bridge repair and any adjustments to traffic management will be provided as they become available.
