THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) arrested a mother of three for allegedly sexually abusing and peddling to foreigners, including a year old toddler, for online sexual show.
The 27-year-old mother in Misamis Oriental was nabbed and caught in the act by operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Human Trafficking Division.
Her children aged eight, six and one were turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
“Sa isang implementation ng warrant, naaktuhan din nila ang subject na ino-offer ang kanyang mga anak for sexual exploitation,” said NBI spokesperson Giselle Garcia-Dumlao.
“‘Yung mismong nanay ng 8-, 6- at 1-year old ang mismong nang-aabuso sa kanyang mga anak,” Garcia-Dumlao said.
The NBI said its agents were able to trace the suspect after monitoring a video showing that she was offering the victims to foreigners online. The mother had been allegedly trading her children on the internet for years, the 24 Oras report said.
She is currently under the custody of local authorities and will be facing multiple charges for human trafficking, child abuse, rape with sexual abuse, and for violating the anti-online sexual abuse or exploitation of children (OSAEC) law.
