CENTRAL Luzon Police authorities continue to make great strides in the PNP’s relentless anti-criminality efforts as a human trafficker and thirty-nine (39) other felons were arrested by Bulacan Cops during the 4th day of their Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) on February 25, 2022, Philippine National Police Chief General Dionardo Carlos announced on Saturday.
Citing the report of Bulacan Acting Provincial Director PCOL Rommel J Ochave, PGen Carlos stated that Joshua Misa of Barangay Malis Guiguinto town, a suspected pimp, was arrested in a joint operation conducted by Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and Malolos CPS at FTC Inn, Brgy. Sumapang Matanda, City of Malolos, Bulacan, for Violation of RA 9208 (Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act).
Series of anti-illegal drug operations conducted by Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Hagonoy, Malolos, Plaridel, Pulilan, San Ildefonso, San Rafael resulted in the arrest of fourteen (14) drug suspects. Seized pieces of evidence totaled to fifty-seven (57) sachets of suspected shabu, coin purse and buy-bust money.
Likewise, eight individuals were arrested in separate anti-illegal gambling operations by the operatives of Bocaue and SJDM C/MPS.
Six (6) were arrested for playing illegal card games (Tong-its) while two (2) others for engaging in cara y cruz. Confiscated were set of playing cards, three (3) pcs one-peso coin and bet money in different denominations.
Further, Dandelo Padero @Jeff of Pantoc, Meycauayan City was arrested by operatives of Meycauayan CPS during the service of a search warrant with the presence of required witnesses. Seized were cal .38 revolver loaded with three (3) cartridges, four (4)) sachets of suspected shabu, strips & rolled aluminum foil, digital weighing scale, scissor, disposable lighters, pouch and plastic box.
Moreover, the search warrant service against Gilbert Dela Paz executed by San Miguel MPS operatives resulted in the recovery of cal .45 pistol with inserted magazine loaded with five (5) pcs ammunitions and three (3) sachets of suspected shabu. Dela Paz was not present during the police operation but the search was done in a legal manner and the presence of necessary witnesses.
Appropriate criminal complaints against all the arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
On the other hand, sixteen (16) persons wanted by law including four (4) most wanted were also arrested in the series of manhunt operations conducted in Bulacan that include Dennis Estorosas, Marilao’s Most Wanted Person (MWP) who was arrested for Violation of RA 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act); Juan Maglangit @Bong, Meycauayan City’s Most Wanted Person for Violation of Alarm and Scandal in relation to Sec 28(a) & Sec 29 of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act); Mark Angelo Manalili, Obando’s MWP for Rape & Sexual Assault; and Joseph Mallari, San Ildefonso’s MWP for Murder.
The accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
Police Regional Office 3 Regional Director PBGen Matthew P Baccay stated that Bulacan police will remain unrelenting in the efforts to go after criminals and bring them before the bars of justice.
Meanwhile, PGen Carlos again commended the Central Luzon police authorities for the said notable accomplishments in the campaign against criminality and illegal drugs.
