Teodoro denies allegations of rape, lasciviousness: Malicious, untrue

admin September 25, 2025

Marcelino Teodoro Representative, District 1 Marikina City

MARIKINA 1st District Representative Marcy Teodoro has vehemently denied allegations of rape and lasciviousness filed against him by two police officers, calling the accusations “malicious and untrue.”

In a statement released following the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) announcement of the complaints, Teodoro asserted that the allegations are baseless and fabricated with the intention of damaging his reputation.

He suggested that the accusations are a politically motivated attack against him, possibly orchestrated by opposing forces. “It seems like a politically motivated attack against me. There are forces at work. The release of the news seems orchestrated, and the story that came out is not credible,” Teodoro stated. He also expressed feeling overwhelmed by the series of attacks against him.

Teodoro emphasized that he has not yet received a formal complaint and therefore lacks complete details or information regarding the allegations.

Citing Department of Justice (DOJ) Circular No. 20 (2023), Teodoro highlighted that the complaints will undergo case build-up and legal evaluation to determine the sufficiency of evidence before any preliminary investigation is conducted, thus considering the accusations as mere allegations at this stage. Teodoro called for an impartial, transparent, and open investigation to protect his reputation, given the recent series of attacks against him.
