SENATOR Risa Hontiveros thanked Senate President Juan Miguel “Migz” F. Zubiri for signing the subpoena ad testificandum that will summon religious leader Apollo Quiboloy to the Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations and Gender Equality’s probe into the abuses allegedly committed within his group.
“Yes, the subpoena against Apollo Quiboloy is out,” she announced as the Senate panel resumed its public inquiry Monday, February 19, 2024.
Hontiveros vowed not to let the abuse of women and children — and the courage of the victims — be brushed aside by political bickerings.
