PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has initiated a comprehensive performance review encompassing all levels of the Philippine government bureaucracy, including senior officials, according to Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.
Speaking at a Palace press briefing Thursday, Bersamin clarified that the review extends beyond the Cabinet level, aiming for a thorough evaluation of government agencies, systems, and the quality of public service delivery nationwide. The performance review includes a directive for heads of government-owned and -controlled corporations (GOCCs) to submit their courtesy resignations.
