HOUSE Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez has registered significant gains in both trust and performance ratings, according to the 2nd Quarter TNM survey conducted in July 2025.
He was one of only two top government officials, alongside President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., to show improvement in both categories.
The survey reveals a 3-percentage point increase in Speaker Romualdez’s trust rating, bringing it to 57%.
While this increase falls within the margin of error, the broad-based nature of the improvement across all major regions and socioeconomic classes is noteworthy.
His performance rating saw an even more substantial increase, climbing by 4 points to 59%, signaling a solid rise in public approval. This positive shift in public perception suggests a growing confidence in Speaker Romualdez’s leadership.
