Robin, Bister sibak sa Army reservist

LAGLAG na sa talaan ng mga army reservist ang dalawang senatorial aspirants at limang iba pa bunsod ng paglahok sa nalalapit na halalan sa Mayo ng susunod na taon.

Kabilang sa mga tinanggalan ng ranggo sina Robin Padila na may ranggong Army Captain at dating Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista na may ranggong Brigadier General. Laglag din sina dating Davao City Rep. Isidro Ungab, John Tracy Cagas na naghain ng kandidatura para kongresista ng Davao del Sur, Eugene Balitang na aspiranteng kinatawan ng Ifugao, Jayvee Tyron Uy na target maging bise-gobernador ng Davao de Oro at Rhodora Cadiao na puntirya naman ang isa pang termino bilang gobernador ng Antique. Sa isang pahayag, iginiit ni Col. Xerxes Trinidad, tumatayong hepe ng PA Public Affairs Office, na hindi dapat mabahiran ng pulitika ang hukbong katihan.

Mismong si Armed Forces of the Philippines at concurrent Army commander Lt. Gen. Andres Centino ang mariing nagpahayag na dapat manatiling non-partisan ang hanay ng militar, kasabay ng panawagang iwansan ang pagsawsaw sa pulitika.
