FOLLOWING her landslide victory from the 2025 midterm elections, Bukidnon 3rd District Representative Inday Audrey Zubiri wasted no time in getting to work, filing ten priority bills on her first day in office, June 30, 2025.
The proposed bills highlight some of Zubiri’s core advocacies, focusing on youth, education, and healthcare.
“I believe that we should always champion the youth, education, and health sectors in legislation, as these pave the way to closing the disparity between the rich and the poor,” Zubiri said.
Among the ten priority bills she filed are:
• Electronic Gambling Access Prevention Act of 2025
• Vapes and HTPs Regulation Act
• Magna Carta of Barangay Health Workers
• Department of Disaster Resilience Act
• An Act Creating Additional Branch of RTC in Bukidnon
• Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe Day Act
• An Act Converting the Satellite Campuses of the Bukidnon State University
• An Act Upgrading Bukidnon Provincial Hospital Into Tertiary Level
• An Act Renewing the 25-Year Franchise of Central Mindanao University’s Broadcasting Station
• A Resolution Urging the Professional Regulation Commision (PRC) to Establish a Service Center in the Municipality of Don Carlos, Province of Bukidnon
Zubiri said that these bills reflect both national imperatives and the local needs of Bukidnon. “This is only the beginning of what I plan to accomplish during my term. My commitment is to bring meaningful, inclusive development to our people, most especially those from Bukidnon through progressive legislation,” she added.
Zubiri’s early legislative efforts underscore her intent to be a proactive and engaged representative, prioritizing tangible improvements for her constituents in Bukidnon and across the country.
