QUEZON City 5th District Representative PM Vargas has vehemently denied allegations linking him to the Discaya controversy, dismissing the claims as “100% not true” and questioning the motives behind them.
Vargas’s strong denial comes in response to being implicated in the ongoing investigation into alleged irregularities in flood control projects.
Vargas emphasized that the Discaya-linked companies have never undertaken any projects in his district, stating, “Walang project ang mga Discaya sa district natin kailanman. Zero. This is confirmed and certified.”
He has vowed to file a case against the Discayas for what he describes as a “blatant lie,” asserting that his track record as a public servant speaks for itself.
