PUBLIC Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon, in collaboration with the Commission on Audit (COA), filed five fraud audit reports with the Office of the Ombudsman on Monday, September 8.
The reports target three contractors allegedly involved in anomalous flood control projects in Bulacan.
The filing of these reports marks a significant step in the ongoing investigation into irregularities surrounding flood control projects in the region.
According to COA, the submission of these documents is expected to pave the way for the filing of formal complaints against the implicated contractors.
This development signals a serious commitment from both the DPWH and COA to pursue accountability and transparency in government infrastructure projects.
