THE Philippine National Police (PNP) announced Monday that the reward for information leading to the arrest of one of the suspects in the killing of Chinese businessman Anson Que and his driver has been increased to ₱10 million.
PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo said the reward is for the capture of alleged co-mastermind Wenli Gong, also known as Kelly Tan Lim, Bao Wenli, Axin, and Huang Yanling.
“The reward has been increased to ₱10 million for anyone who can provide information leading to the swift arrest of alias Kelly,” Fajardo stated in a press briefing. The initial reward for Kelly’s arrest was ₱5 million.
Police have identified five suspects in the murder of Que and his driver: David Tan Liao, Richardo Austria, and Reymart Catequista (currently in custody), and Jonin Lin and Kelly (still at large). According to Fajardo, Liao and Kelly are the alleged masterminds, while Austria, Catequista, and Lin are their accomplices.
