PNP 911 hotline now accepts bullying reports, says Torre

admin June 16, 2025

PARENTS and students can now report bullying incidents directly to the Philippine National Police (PNP) through the 911 hotline, according to PNP Chief General Nicolas Torre III.

This announcement comes as the PNP prioritizes addressing bullying concerns during the official opening of the 2025-2026 school year. General Torre emphasized the PNP’s commitment to working collaboratively with schools to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for all students.

The 911 hotline will serve as a direct channel for reporting incidents, facilitating a swift response from local police stations.

When a bullying incident is reported via 911, call takers will immediately alert the relevant local police station.

The police station will then coordinate directly with the school administration to address the situation effectively.

This initiative aims to bridge any communication gaps that may prevent school heads from receiving timely information about bullying incidents.

The PNP’s proactive approach underscores its commitment to tackling bullying and ensuring the safety and well-being of students nationwide.
