PASTOR Apollo Quiboloy, leader of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), was transferred to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Facility in Camp Crame on Sunday evening.
According to a report by Super Radyo dzBB, Quiboloy was flown to Metro Manila and escorted by a convoy that included several PNP vehicles, two coaster buses, and civilian vehicles with emergency lights.
The convoy departed from Villamor Air Base in Pasay City. While the identities of those within the convoy remain unconfirmed, it is believed to have included Quiboloy.
Earlier on Sunday evening, Quiboloy surrendered to the Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces at the KOJC compound in Davao City, according to his lawyer, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio.
Quiboloy is facing charges under Section 5(b) and Section 10(a) of Republic Act 7610, also known as the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act. He is also facing a non-bailable qualified human trafficking charge under Section 4(a) of Republic Act No. 9208, as amended, before a Pasig court.
