“Ipinapakita lamang nito na seryoso po ang Kamara sa pagpapatupad sa legislative agenda ng administrasyon.

This according to House Speaker Faustino “Bojie” G. Dy III, who in a video statement highlighted the House’s approval of half of the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC) priority measures during the first regular session of the 20th Congress.

Dy shared that Congress has approved 26 of the 52 LEDAC priority measures, including 15 of the 21 bills targeted for passage before the end of June, reflecting the House of Representatives’ support for the administration’s legislative program.

Among the measures are the landmark Right to Information Act, the Anti-Political Dynasty Act, reforms to the Bank Deposits Secrecy Law, and the law resetting the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) parliamentary elections.

“Malayo na po ang ating narating. Sa first regular session pa lamang ng 20th Congress, naaprubahan na po ng Congress ang 26 sa 52 LEDAC priority measures. Kabilang po dito ang 15 sa 21 priority bills na tinarget maipasa bago matapos ang Hunyo 2026,” Dy said.

The Speaker, however, stressed that Congress would continue working to complete the remaining priority measures.

“Tuloy pa rin po ang trabaho. Hindi po tayo magpapahinga dahil marami pa tayong kailangang tapusin, at pursigido ang House na maipasa rin ang mga natitira pang LEDAC priority measures,” he said.

Dy said the House remains committed to supporting the administration’s reform agenda by passing legislation that delivers concrete benefits to the Filipino people.
