THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced on Wednesday that the Office of the Ombudsman is scheduled to file criminal charges against certain individuals in Bulacan in connection with a flood control infrastructure project.
As reported by GMA News’ James Agustin, DPWH Secretary Vince Dizon confirmed that the cases will be lodged before the Malolos Regional Trial Court.
“More cases are forthcoming. In fact, tomorrow we will be filing another set of charges, this time in Bulacan. You’ll just have to wait and see who the respondents are — these are high-profile personalities involved. Just stay tuned for tomorrow’s announcement,” Dizon stated during an ambush interview.
He made the remarks while joining Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte for an on-site inspection of the Matalahib Creek Pumping Station.
