WITH temperatures soaring across the Philippines, Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma is urging employers to adopt flexible work arrangements, including work-from-home options, where feasible.
He also stressed the importance of providing adequate hydration and ensuring proper workplace ventilation to protect employees from heat-related illnesses.
The secretary emphasized that such arrangements are permissible as long as they don’t negatively impact business operations.
