THE Department of Labor and Employment brings employment opportunities closer to jobseekers as another round of nationwide job fairs will be held in connection with the 125th anniversary celebration of Philippine Independence on June 12.
Jobseekers across the regions are invited to the 48 job fair sites, where an initial 68,455 job vacancies will be offered by 840 employers.
The data is as of June 4 only and the number of vacancies is expected to increase in the succeeding days.
The job fair sites in Luzon on June 12 are the following:
National Capital Region – SM Grand Central – Caloocan City; Rizal Gymnasium – Pasig City; SM City Marikina; SM Megamall – Mandaluyong City; Parañaque City Hall Gymnasium – Parañaque City; Vista Mall Taguig; SM Southmall – Las Piñas City; Robinsons Las Piñas; SM City North EDSA; SM City Novaliches; SM City Fairview; SM City Sta. In addition, pre-Independence Day job fairs will be conducted at the Western Philippines University, Aborlan, Palawan on June 7; Western Philippines University, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan on June 9; and SM City Rosales, Pangasinan on June 11.
Meanwhile, post-Independence Day job fairs will be held at NCCC Mall, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan on June 19; and STI College, Puerto Princesa City, Palawan on June 20.
