Biggest attendance so far: 95 lawmakers attend Tawi-Tawi BPSF

admin May 24, 2024

THE Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) in Tawi-Tawi has, by far, registered the highest attendance among members of the House of Representatives, with over 95 lawmakers attending the two-day event last May 23 until this Friday in the Municipality of Bongao.

Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, one of the main proponents and prime mover of the BPSF, was pleased to see 95 lawmakers attending the two-day service caravan, traveling great distances just to witness the revolutionary program of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos at work.

Romualdez represented President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. as the keynote speaker in the service caravan ni Tawi-Tawi, with Gov. Yshmael I. Sali and Rep. Dimszar M. Sali acting as local hosts for the event.

The Tawi-Tawi BPSF is the 18th installment of the Serbisyo Caravan that aims to cover all 82 provinces in the country.

In attendance from the House of Representatives are: Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales II, Deputy Majority Leader David “Jay-Jay” Suarez, Majority Leader Manuel Jose M. Dalipe, House Minority Leader Marcelino C. Libanan, Reps. Jurdin Jesus M. Romualdo, Rodge Gutierrez, Janette Garin Erwin Tulfo, Daphne Lagon, Geraldine Roman, Ernix Dionisio, Joel Chua, Edvic G. Yap, Maria Carmen S. Zamora, Tsuyoshi Anthony G. Horibata, Miguel Luis R. Villafuerte, Ron P. Salo, Francisco Jose F. Matugas, Maria Rachel J. Arenas, Gerville R. Luistro, Jose “Bong” J. Teves Jr., and others.

Also present were Basilan Gov. Hadjiman Sabbihi Hataman-Salliman, Sulu Gov. Abdusakur Mahail Tan and 10 mayors, namely: Mayor Jimuel S. Que, Mayor Abduhasan Ismail I. Sali, Mayor Suraida F. Muksin, Mayor Rhodesia M. Sali, Mayor Nur-Fitra P. Ahaja, Mayor Wasilah T. Abdurahman, Mayor Tiblan C. Ahaja, Mayor Hadzri H. Matba, Mayor Al-Shalid A. Salih, and Mayor Mohammad Faizal G. Jamalul.

“With this number of local and national officials witnessing how the BPSF truly serves the people, I will have no doubt that many more will join us in this very important endeavor.
