ANOTHER round of fuel price hike will likely to experience by motorists after two rounds of rollbacks prior to the long Holy Week break, according to projections by Unioil Petroleum Philippines.
In its fuel price forecast for the April 19 to 25 trading week, Unioil said the price per liter of diesel may increase by P1.70 to P1.80.
Gasoline prices, meanwhile, may go up by P0.40 to P0.50 per liter.
Oil companies usually announce price adjustments every Monday to be implemented on the following day.
Effective April 12, fuel firms slashed gasoline prices by P1.00 per liter, diesel by P0.35 per liter, and kerosene by P3 per liter.
Year-to-date adjustments stand at a net increase of P15 per liter for gasoline, P26.65 per liter for diesel, and P21.10 per liter for kerosene.
