The Filipino women were found safe after 12 days of disappearance.
AFTER a puzzling 12-day disappearance, two Filipina domestic workers, Aleli Perez Tibay and Imee Mahilum Pabuaya, have been found safe in Hong Kong.
The South China Morning Post reported their discovery in the Sha Tin area on October 16th. The details surrounding their disappearance and what they were doing during those 12 days remain unclear.
The women, who worked in separate homes, were last seen in different locations, sparking concern and a public appeal for information. While authorities are likely investigating the circumstances, the immediate priority is the well-being of the two OFWs, who are now under the care of the MWO-OWWA in Hong Kong.
